Welcome to DuoReply! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DuoReply browser extension, the https://www.duoreply.com website, and any related backend API services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

DuoReply is an AI-powered browser extension designed to assist users in drafting and translating replies on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The Service utilizes third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate text suggestions based on the context of tweets and user input.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use and User Conduct

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Abuse the API: Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying API endpoints, secret headers, or backend infrastructure used by the DuoReply extension to make automated, bulk, or scripted requests outside of the normal extension interface.
  • Violate Third-Party Rules: Use the Service to violate the Terms of Service, user agreements, or anti-spam policies of X Corp. (formerly Twitter).
  • Generate Malicious Content: Use the Service to generate or distribute hate speech, harassment, defamatory content, spam, or any material that violates applicable laws.
  • Resell the Service: Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to temporarily limit (rate-limit) or permanently ban your access to the Service (e.g., via IP blocking) if we detect anomalous, abusive, or excessive usage patterns.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Our Rights: DuoReply retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, UI design, logos, trademarks, and backend architecture.
  • Your Content: We claim no ownership over the original tweets you interact with or the final text you choose to post. You are solely responsible for the content you publish using our drafting tool.

5. Third-Party Platforms & AI Providers

  • Not Affiliated with X (Twitter): DuoReply is an independent, third-party tool. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with X Corp.
  • AI Output Disclaimer: The Service uses third-party AI models to generate text. You acknowledge that AI technology is experimental and may occasionally produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or nonsensical output ("hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the AI-generated drafts before posting them on any platform.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUOREPLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that it will meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee that your use of the Service will not result in action taken against your account by third-party platforms (e.g., account suspension by X).

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DUOREPLY, ITS FOUNDERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  1. YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE;
  2. ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE;
  3. ANY ACTION TAKEN AGAINST YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS BY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS;
  4. UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

8. Modifications to the Service and Terms

  • Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, including changing it from a free service to a paid subscription model.
  • Terms Changes: We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on https://www.duoreply.com. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
